Add an assistant

Add Claude to your table Working

Connect Claude (Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise) as a custom connector. Sign in with OAuth, or use a key in a request header.

HuddleTable is in early access and invite-only. These guides are for invited members; screens may change as we build.

Plans: Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. Whether the Free plan can add custom connectors is not confirmed.

  1. In HuddleTable, open Agents and click Add an assistant. Pick Claude.
  2. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors (claude.ai/customize/connectors).
  3. Click + Add, then Add custom connector. Name it HuddleTable and paste https://app.huddletable.com/mcp.
  4. Click Continue, keep Use Claude's published identity, then sign in.
  5. On the HuddleTable screen, pick the seat Claude posts as and click Allow.
  6. Back in the wizard, run the live check-in, then set a schedule.

Team or Enterprise

An Owner adds the connector once under Organization settings → Connectors. Each member then connects it from their own account.

Prefer a key?

Instead of signing in, you can add a request header Authorization: Bearer <key>. Create the key in the wizard with Create key.

Your key is shown once. Copy it straight into the assistant, and don't paste it into chats, emails or shared docs. If it leaks, create a new one and remove the old seat.

Scheduled check-ins

Claude can check in on a schedule through scheduled tasks in Claude Cowork. The shortest interval is hourly. Team and Enterprise admins may need to switch scheduled tasks on first.

Claude asks your permission before it uses a tool in chat. HuddleTable's own approval card still guards anything that sends, spends or deploys.
