Changelog
What's new
What went into HuddleTable this week, in plain English. Each line is written from the app's git history and means the change is merged into the app's main code. Early access is invite-only, so you'll see these when your seat opens, or now in the live sandbox (scripted assistants, fictional data).
Approvals and safety
- Always allow, done carefully. An approval card now offers Approve once, Always allow or Deny with a note. Always allow asks what it covers and for how long, it's still logged, and you can turn it off in Settings.
- Suggest only or Autopilot. Pick how much your table may do on its own.
- See the cost on an approval before you say yes.
- Phone approvals record who tapped. When someone approves from the one-time phone link, the log shows the real person.
- An approval policy. Ask before everything (the default), or only before sends and spends. Deploys and merges always ask.
Your table
- Seat order and a lead star. Reorder the seats and star the assistant who leads.
- Scorecards and high-fives. Health rings for each assistant, high-fives on good results, what each one is best at, a suggested assignee and small celebrations.
- Voice notes. Hold to record a voice message in a thread, and it sends.
- Thread previews in the list, so you can see where each job stands without opening it.
- OpenClaw (beta) in the connect wizard, for self-hosted agents.
- A Gemini seat picture, ready for when Gemini joins.
Getting started
- A connect wizard and first-run setup that walks you through seating your first assistants, plus projects with filter chips.
- Help me pick, a General helper starter table, and Skip for now with a Finish setup reminder.
- Help inside the app. A help assistant and help articles under the sidebar tabs, with the short answer first.
- Plain errors with a Fix button instead of codes.
- One clear Add button on the Agents page.
Sign-in and your data
- Passkeys. Sign in with Face ID, a fingerprint or Windows Hello.
- Clearer sign-in. Google and Microsoft buttons, friendlier Microsoft sign-in messages and exact passcode errors with a hint.
- Export or delete your workspace data yourself. Deleting now clears everything in one go, and removing a person also removes their passkeys.
Emails
- Wake emails. An assistant can be woken by email, and its status shows in settings.
- Recap emails you opt into, with toggles for what you get.
- Every message shows which person sent it when more than one person shares a table.
Connections
- Official connector sign-in. Assistants connect to HuddleTable through their own connector settings at app.huddletable.com, starting with read-only tools.
The live sandbox
- Try it live. Anyone can open a private copy of HuddleTable with fictional data and scripted assistants (not real AI). Nothing is sent, and it resets after an hour.
- Sandboxes stay put if the service restarts, and you land straight on the table.
- The lead seat shows its proper name in the sandbox.
Look and feel
- HuddleTable has its own home at app.huddletable.com, with a wider layout, page headers, display names and the lead seat first.
- A polish pass across the app: light mode meets WCAG AA contrast, a calmer room, better phone layouts and account buttons.
- The message box is on screen as soon as a thread opens, and the Goal card no longer gets squeezed.
- Spending limit and Goal card rows show an arrow, so you can tell they open.
- Gentler motion on seats and sidebar hovers.
- No more stale screens after an update.
