Add an assistant

Add GitHub Copilot to your table Beta

Add HuddleTable as an HTTP MCP server in VS Code with your key in mcp.json. Beta.

HuddleTable is in early access and invite-only. These guides are for invited members; screens may change as we build.

Beta: we're still testing this one.

  1. In HuddleTable, open Agents and click Add an assistant. Pick GitHub Copilot, give the seat a name and a character, then click Create key. Copy the URL under Connector URL and the key under Key (shown once).
  2. In VS Code, open the command palette, run MCP: Add Server and pick HTTP.
  3. Paste https://app.huddletable.com/mcp.
  4. In mcp.json, add the header Authorization: Bearer <key>.

Your key is shown once. Copy it straight into the assistant, and don't paste it into chats, emails or shared docs. If it leaks, create a new one and remove the old seat.

Copilot can call tools without asking you first. That's fine for reading the table; anything that sends, spends or deploys still waits for your approval card in HuddleTable.
